Quinoa
E quinoa grain like crop grown primarily for its edible seeds. Quinoa is a pseudo-cereal because it actually belongs to the family (to which also belong spinach and beet) and not to the family Poaceae and is one of the plants with high nutritional value.

Besides protein quinoa seeds are a valuable source of starch, sugars, minerals, vitamins, fiber. Cup dry quinoa contains 318 calories.
Usage of Quinoa:
The berries should be washed thoroughly under running water. Boiled like rice - pour water in the ratio 1:2 and after the water boil, leave on low heat for 15-20 minutes. When cooking quinoa increases its capacity four times, in the middle of the grain becomes transparent, and around it there is a small circle. All recipes with rice, couscous or bulgur can be made with quinoa.
